Lizards are a normal part life in Sydney.

Blue-tongues, eastern water dragons, geckos and even large lace monitors (goannas) are increasingly common around homes, gardens, roof spaces and commercial properties.

Most lizard call-outs are not emergencies. They’re usually about peace of mind, unwanted access to buildings, repeated nuisance behaviour, hygiene concerns, or protecting pets - particularly when large or confident lizards are involved. Sydney Lizard Removalprovides calm, professional and lawful assistance across Greater Sydney, led by one of Australia’s most experienced urban reptile specialists.

Common reasons we’re called include:
Image

Asian House Gecko The Asian house gecko (Hemidactylus frenatus) is a small, introduced lizard now widespread across Sydney. Unlike native lizards, house geckos are commonly found inside buildings, where they live on walls, ceilings and around lights.

Image

Eastern water dragons The Eastern water dragon (Intellagama lesueurii) is a large, robust lizard commonly found around Sydney homes, parks and waterways. As urban development has expanded, water dragons have adapted extremely well to suburban environments, particularly around pools, decks, landscaped gardens and outdoor living areas.

Blue-tongued lizards Blue-tongue lizards (Tiliqua species) are one of the most commonly encountered reptiles around Sydney homes. Slow-moving, heavy-bodied and generally placid, they are frequent visitors to gardens, garages, sheds and under-house areas - particularly in warmer months.

Skinks Water skinks are now one of the most common lizard species found across the Greater Sydney region. Despite their name, they are not restricted to water and are frequently encountered around homes, gardens, brickwork, retaining walls and outdoor structures.

Awesome service Chris. Thanks mate for coming out quickly and removing the lace monitor which just appeared at my place out of no where. What a size that was but with your expertise you handled it with ease and care. You definitely know what your doing and really showed that you love what you do.

Chris was amazing, we had a large lace monitor that decided to live on our balcony and while the idea sounded cool I have young children so it wasn’t going to work. . Chris handled with care and was very quick, removed and relocated the monitor into their new environment away from us. Thank you Chris you have a wealth of knowledge and was interesting to hear about our not so little animal.

We called Chris and he was very professional and prompt. We appreciated him coming to our call out first even though he was on his way to another call out. He quickly and easily found the Blue Tongue Lizard and happily took it away. Thanks again Chris 😀 Adonis and Sharon

Outstanding service, quick and efficient. I have 3 kids under the age of 4 and we had an eastern water dragon that kept appearing in the back yard, albeit harmless we decided to get it removed once and for all. Within 40 minutes of making the call the boys attended my property located and removed the eastern water dragon swiftly. Couldn’t recommend these guys enough. Great job!

Chris provided a great service removing a blue tongue lizard that had taken up residence in my pool controls box. The first visit he could not catch her as she had retreated under a concrete block but left me a trap to entice the lizard with food. Today I rang to say the lizard was out by tge pool and within 35 mins Chris was at my place and safely catching my unwanted guest. Great friendly service.
